Hey folks,
My apologies for the hiccups this past week -- frankly, was just a little overwhelmed/bummed out with the gloom-and-doom, so I took some time for myself. I'm a pretty happy, jovial, fun-loving guy, so this ongoing pet news project of mine is not at all something that I get a kick out of doing...and yet, this project keeps me sucked into it...I just can't seem to pull myself away from this project for very long...arghhh, the irony!
The objective of the blog site and these daily news blasts is not to frighten/scare/depress, but to provide information -- a sort of "heads-up" for and an alarm bell within those whom I care about. You can take this info or leave it, it's up to you, but it's my belief that these selected articles, op-eds, audio/video clips, etc., provide us with a unique sense of awareness of our state, our nation, and our globe, which seems to be practically non-existent in the American population at large.
Anyway, thanks for your readership and your feedback. Below are the last 3+ days of news. And if at any time you want me to remove you from these daily notifications, no worries - just let me know.
